"We're all just walking each other home."

-Ram Dass

I’ve been a lifelong mover, deeply believing in the transformative power of movement to help us shift patterns and access greater joy and freedom in our lives. My journey began as a competitive figure skater, which later transitioned into the more expressive artistry of ballet and contemporary dance. Eventually, I discovered yoga as a healing practice for my body and a path to deeper connection.

I see each yoga experience as an opportunity to thoughtfully guide the nervous system on a journey. Drawing on my years as both a theater director and a yoga teacher and mentor, I’ve honed an understanding of the subtle and overt techniques in cueing, sequencing, music, themes and beyond that facilitators must use to elevate energy when needed and calm it when it’s time to rest.

My trauma-informed approach ensures that everyone leaves feeling better than when they come in. My teaching invites students to drop into an immersive experience, stop thinking for a space in their day, and come home in their yoga practice. I also love mentoring teachers in the intricate skills required to create this type of experience.

My background in dance shines through in my approach to yoga. With a lifetime of movement experience, my understanding of the body is deeply refined. My cueing—and the way I teach others to cue—is fluid, intuitive, and takes into consideration all body types. Teachers leave my workshops and mentorships with not only a deeper understanding of anatomy but also a polished skill set for facilitating that knowledge to their classes.

I’m at my best when I’m inspiring others to pursue meaningful work and discover their unique gifts. I’ve been leading yoga teacher trainings and mentorships, both online and in person, in Boulder, CO, for over five years. Guiding others on their journey is my favorite part of my work, as I love seeing people step into their gifts and provide their own meaningful work to the world.
